Debris Facility Pty Ltd are excited to share with you ‘Conduction’, a new shop front multi-function art space that we are opening in Footscray, Narrm. We’d like to warmly extend an invitation to join us for a double-headed special launch event on Saturday 25th of January, 25/01/2025
It’s running as a pilot program of ‘Creative Places’, supported by the City of Maribyrnong Council with free rent and fit out budget, and is confirmed to run until March 31st, 2025. We’ve been busy fitting out the space to turn it into an experimental cultural and accessible community space in central Footscray, operated by Debris Facility in collaboration with a number of cultural workers, friends, peers, human and non-human forces.
We operate on the stolen and sovereign lands of the Wurundjeri, Woi-wurrung and Boon-wurrung peoples of the Kulin Nations. We reflect this acknowledgement through 20% of all proceeds from the space going towards a range of First Nations organisations and decolonial mutual-aid initiatives.
